Joe Beninati is great doing the play-by-play. The colour commentator Craig Laughlin on the other hand has maybe one of the most annoying voices and general way of speaking in hockey.

I had their feed for the whole game, their crew is very good. Talked a lot about the Flames strengths and weaknesses, showed their costumed train ride pictures, and had heaps of praise for Gaudreau and Monahan. I wasn't even missing Ball and Hrudey, I'd rank them among the best commentators in the league

Jagr a main factor in the 2 3rd period goals even though no points. And slick feeds to Bennett and Hamilton sending them in alone which easily could’ve been goals. Just fantastic.

Everytime I notice him on the ice it's because he's making a smart play. Winning a board battle, breaking up a pass, or setting up someone in the slot. At this point in his career there is no speed or flash, but damn if he isn't the most solid player night in and night out

For more feel good stuff here is Darren Haynes latest tweet:

Quote:
#Flames prospect Tyler Parsons is back to playing like the guy tabbed by many as the organization's top prospect. A week ago, his ECHL numbers with Kansas City were 2-4-0, 4.69 GAA, .870 SV%.

Then last week happened.

In the past six days, he's gone 4-0-0, 1.49 GAA, .957 SV%.

Loved that game. Almost as complete as one can get. A little lightweight off the bat, but came back with that terrific Johnny doing Johnny things goal ... and then never let their feet off the pedals. THAT was a wonderful performance. Smitty bailed them out here and there - but nothing like what's gone before. D was solid and the PK tenacious.

Keep it up boys!!

Yup. One of the better crews I've watched in quite awhile.

Shout out to Gaskal. For the ATL report, but even more for the special teams breakdown of the caps in the GDT. Really enjoyed watching the game looking for those things pointed out. Synopsis was bang on.

For those of us trying to keep track..

Do we want Gulutzan fired any more or is he a good coach again?

Love the comment about the Flames are overachieving with our current roster LOL Oilers fans can't figure out where a much deeper and more complete team and we've actually underachieved a lot of this year.
