Bottom line is that several players had a shot at a top 9 rw spot in camp. None grabbed it. I think the organization handled this the right way.

Good job is hopefully this lights a fire under the young ones. Knowing that we filled the spot externally will have them thinking that they don't want it to happen again, rather than leaving it open and rotating each one of them in and out, giving them the Oiler level of entitlement.

There are a few in that group that I would leave out IMO.
Pribyl is injured, Foo was a long shot to make the jump to the club right away, Poirier with him being away for too long, just wasn't ready.
