I don't live in Calgary anymore and I couldn't find my 2004 grease-stained, somewhat shredded car flags....so I ponied up and ordered two from Fanattic (overpriced, but....) and they'll be here out in the Shuswap on Monday or Tuesday - just in time!!
I might even be able to sneak one onto my wife's car....think she'll notice?

The Hamptons Coop has some interesting car "flags". They are a 5 or 6 inch fan blade design that spins horizontally with the Flames logo on each blade. It could look kinda cool when it is spinning.

Anyone know if Adrenalin on McLeod still has the giant McDavid out front? Thinking of telling the manager that it's weird enough having a giant Oiler player displayed in Calgary as it is, and that if it's not covered up for playoffs I will not shop there.
Starting to see tons of car flags the last few days.

I'm usually a "don't put it up until the playoffs start" guy, but this thread inspired me to put mine on last Friday when I had to drive across town to my buddy's. True I've seen more in previous years, but they're starting to get more noticeable.
It may depend where you live too. When I was running my "nice little Saturday" errands, I appeared to be the only person in the entire West Hills town centre shopping area who had one. But once I jumped on Glenmore and stated getting more to the central, Macleod Tr area, they were definitely more common.

I really timed my two weeks in Calgary horribly. Landed last Sunday an hour after the last home game of the season and go back to London next Sunday.
FML, at least I'll have some new Flames gear and a flag for my car.

The schedule couldn't have worked out any better. After buying 14 tickets to the Jays-Angels game on Saturday the 22nd for a bachelor party which was supposed to be in LA with the exception of the Angels game, I just picked up tickets to the Friday flames ducks game.
I really hope my buddy understands the destination change and as much as a sweep of the ducks would be nice, I really need a game 5.
On a side note, unreal that ticketmaster still has a ton of tickets available without going into the resale market. We paid $50 us for what would be similar to saddledome greens.
