I just bought two new ones (got them delivered today!) but had just the one in years past.

One is acceptable.

I put up my two flags up on my car and left it overnight outside my condo (Fairly busy street).

Came back to a friendly note from an anonymous neighbour telling me how I shouldn't leave my flags like that and how in the past they have had their windows smashed and flags stolen...

Can anybody tell me
Is there some place around town where you can go physically buy a car antenna flag?!

My window flag is falling apart (2004 one, rip) and I prefer an antenna cause that way I can still roll down the windows and avoid the creaking/clicking they make.

I think you might be hard pressed. Not many cars left on the road with old style antennas.

We don't leave ours on if we're parked outside anywhere for any amount of time. I don't think the damage comes from attempted thefts, rather just idiots of another unnamed fan base trying to break the flag sometimes breaking the window in the process. Back in 2006 I learned as with the flag on I came out of the grocery store towards my parked car and a guy had been there and scurried off. He was wearing a copper and blue hat, middle of day, busy parking lot.

just a thought....

most of the car flag 'poles' i've seen have a plastic knob at the end that screws off. flames fans need to stock up on the flags (not the plastic part - just the actual flag) and if you see a car parked with a flag on it that is say orange/blue/white, simply unscrew the knob, remove the ugly flag and replace it with a glorious red/white/gold/black one... i believe it is our responsibility in a civilized society to do such a good thing.

i forgot to mention that it is then your choice to possibly leave the old ugly flag under the car's windshield wiper or if that just doesn't seem right then save them up and use them for toilet paper after taco tuesday!

My car is only 8 years old haha. But yeah they're becoming obsolete. May go the ebay route then.

If anybody comes across a place with antenna flags though, do report back!

Will be checking out Canadian Tire today to see what their car flags are like.

I still got mine from 2006. Don't fly them often though after my vehicle was vandalized.

Check out pro hockey life, they always have tons of Flames gear. Canadian tire too.

My truck is a 2016 and it has the antenna, so it's not going out of style.

Found the smaller (I believe 4"x6") antenna flags @ ProHockey life on 130th. There was 20 or so on the rack

Walked into my local walmart at 130th Ave.. and the first thing I saw were their Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens knockoff jerseys.

I straight up told one of their managers that I was offended.. the flames JUST made the playoffs, and they present us with this crap?? Even nothing would be better.. Toronto isn't even guaranteed to make it. That's just awful. Anyway, if you walk in to Wal Mart at 130th Ave, let them know how displeased you are that they aren't showcasing FLAMES merchandise! We're trying to build excitement here!
