I am impressed with the training De Grasse and his coaching staff have done to get him ready for the Olympics. It seems like they really have him peaking at the right time.

Never seen someone win a 200/400 from the outside lane. New WR in the 400 for the RSA.
Significant because that wipes away that arrogant Michael Johnson's record (the one that raced Bailey at Skydome at 150m after saying that 200m winner is the world's fastest man, and pulled up after 70m).

Does Van Niekirk race the 200 too? They were saying he had excellent times in it: could set up a crazy race with Bolt.
Very exciting to see someone beat Johnson's record finally. That's a ridiculous time.
