What time was it? Why are people keeping wolves as pets?
CPS's original post went up around 5:30pm so it likely would have happened some time around then.

Here's a better/different pic:

I saw a few cougars running around downtown last night. Pictures came out better too.

What dog? All I see is a wolf.

Well my wolf sighting was right around 8pm.

Looks like the police were after two separate wolves last night.

Next time a CPer's dog gets out I hope they pop this thread with an appeal for people to keep an eye out for their lost wolf.

A police car is nothing to a dog plotting his revenge/end of the world.

They were attempting to corner a white wolf, about the size of a large German Shepard that was running along the green space behind the Home Depot, headed east on the north side of Stoney trail.

Was pretty crazy. One of the cop cars was driving in the ditch beside the oncoming traffic off ramp behind the Costco.
Are you kidding me? What a waste be it a dog or a wolf. Shoot it with a tranquilizer and drop it off at the pound. That's a one-person job.

I kid you not.

A good several thousand dollars per hour was chasing the four legged perpetrator.

But, in all fairness, it was a wolf. You can't put a price on public safety.

I drove past that too. Definitely a dog. A white dog, though, so not the one above.

I would be shocked if the white animal you saw was actually a wolf. Not that it's impossible, but wolves usually go to great lengths to avoid people (especially giant cities).

You're probably thinking of the white ####zu that the white wolf was chasing.

Yeah, no ones ever been hurt by an escaped, scared dog in the city. Wolves on the other hand, seems like we hear about them every couple of days now.

I have two huskies and often hear kids telling their parents that I'm walking wolves, coyotes or even werewolves!
