Anyone can be traded for the right price.

It's the same with the Hamilton thread. I would imagine Brad is asking how to move up, and the other teams asked for Hamilton, now all of a sudden he's in play. Just because someone asks for it doesn't mean it's actually being seriously considered.

Thing is....if this does end up giving Benning an advantage to get Stamkos or Subban......any fine will be a moot point just a part of business. On the other hand if he doesn't actually get either, or even go after them. Then they probably don't even bother with any discipline, or it will be a very small fine.
