This fact seems to be lost in the hubbub. He was tired of the NDP's shenanigans and wanted things to get moving instead of wasting everyone's time.
He made a stupid decision to actually show initiative and touch another member, then Devil-Mulclair and him started arguing and as he was pulling away he accidently hit Vegas Girl, who was standing there laughing at their antics.
This is a waste of everyone's time to cover and is not endearing of any of our political representatives (except maybe Elizabeth May).
Just move on.

It's 2016. I didn't say women can't handle cuss words. However the house speaker determines what is considered unparliamentary language and there are rules around it. Trudeau has a history of not being able to control his tongue, and in our most revered democratic institution for him and others to act this way is embarrassing. Cussing, swearing, foul language it's all the same... Maybe there is an emojicon to help you?
Mick is probably ashamed of his sons actions.

Hilarious that the CPC partisans are now talking about what a glorious institution parliament is now, but when Harper was found in contempt it was all for show (you know...contempt actually means something as opposed to this whole charade).

Just finished watching the whole "incident"...don't these people we pay outrageous scads of money to to work actually have some work they should be working on instead of this BS?

Ive voted liberal in the past.
Harper may have been many things, but at least this sort of thing wasn't common behaviour for him.
Funny how we harp on Trump for not being "presidential enough" isn't it?

Deflect deflect deflect. .... im sure soon enough you will enlighten on what would the Wild Rose have done.
Regardless of past performance by some that are not even in the HofC any longer, what about what actually happened last night with the sitting government leader and current prime minister of Canada?

Can't wait Muclair to call for impeachment, imprisonment, and eventually the death penalty on Trudeau.
We keep this old guy around just for comic relief right?

I know as a man I can't really say this because it's somehow misogynistic, but I just don't care. A guy bumped into someone. That same thing will happen hundreds of times on the LRT this morning and it's not a problem.
There are dozens of other reasons you could pick away at Trudeau and the Liberals. Like actual policies or actions, and some I might even agree with. This is just boring and foolish though.

Slava, I agree the bump is just that. And the NDP are overblowing it.
I'd prefer if our Prime Minister didn't act like a entitled tit baby in parliament. But that's just me.
Bumping into people on the LRT is common and most people don't bat an eye. Grabbing someone to lead them off and saying "get the **** out of the way" probably means your picking your teeth off the floor of the platform.

To pretend Trudeau had some non-partisan , initiative at heart but it went sour with a poor decision is laughable. He was grandstanding pure and simple and the results turned out embarrassing for all involved - from Trudeau acting like an entitled jerk to Mulcair 's fake outrage to Brosseau's victim act to Ambrose's overdramatic social media post.

No, it isn't. The effing Prime Minister of Canada completely and inexcusably overstepped his bounds yesterday at a time when he is also seriously and inexcusably trying to stifle the rights of the Opposition to do its job. And you are such an extreme liberal hack, Slava, that you refuse to see that Trudeau's behaviour this week has been every bit as bad as the worst behaviour you saw out of Harper or the Conservatives. Yet, because you are such a colossal hypocrite, your only thought process is to try and deflect rather than face the fact that your side is no better than the one you hate.

I don't think he was grandstanding, so much as he was behaving like a little princeling not accustomed to not getting his way. That's been the story of the last week for the Trudeau family - they can't handle being questioned, criticized or embarrassed.

I can't disagree on that , he comes off as an entitled elitist more and more. I get the grandstanding part from all the Liberal MP's hooting and hollering when he was trotting down there like a hero to go physically escort the MP and elbowing some boobs along the way like a champ.

Somehow the extremely controversial assisted dying legislation that was being voted on yesterday has been lost in this ridiculous hub-bub.
