I just don't get a guy like Kadri threatening anybody. Don't you have to have an ounce of an ability to back it up. His attempts to hit Giordano the rest of the night was all the proof I need that he shouldn't be passing out insults and threats he can't back up.
I passed an old lady in this old green monster car last summer on the number one highway. She flipped me the bird for literally no reason.
This reminded me a lot of that.

Threats from Kadri are real. He is a dirty player who will go outside the confines of the rules to enact revenge.
He tried the flying Elbow on Giordano following the Gardiner goal in the 3rd. Giordano ducked out of the way and Kadri went ass over tea kettle, but he threw the elbow all the same.
Pretty sure players have been. Probably because they're not all wearing microphones broadcast for all the fans to hear. But they are all on TV.
The same reason a player will get suspended for flipping someone off, but not for telling them to go f*** themselves.
It's not about it being a big deal. I doubt Giordano or the Flames actually care. It's about the NHL having some semblance of consistency. If you're going to suspend other players for doing it, you have to suspend all players who do it.
