It is hard right now not to get excited about this team and how they will line up!
I hope Wotherspoon takes the next step - if Brodie wants to keep playing on the right, that could be a good pairing to get Wotherspoon settled, then load up TJ with special teams minutes and the odd shift with Gio at 5 on 5 (especially 3rd period).
Colborne sounds like he is coming on well - either him or Hudler should be on Bennett's line, or perhaps both? At least one guy on Bennett's line should be able to take faceoffs well, to ease pressure on the rookie. I like the addition of Frolik as it gives the team another guy who can go with Backlund and take tough matchups.
Hiller's new set. Not sure if I am a fan of the white on his pads. His last years were better.
They might just be practice gear. Last year in camp Hiller had gear with orange highlights that never showed up in games. Goalies often have blockers and trappers for practice only with extra padding in certain areas that are a bit stiffer and more impractical but better for preventing fluke injuries.

I never even considered the possibility of splitting up the top line, but if Bennett and Hudler can develop chemistry, you could have a ridiculously effective four lines.
Anderson is impressive, but at times I thought he looked a little slow at practice... Bennet looks great! Liked Kulak... Loving Ferland with Johnny and Monahan.

Hudler has been rookie magic since the rebuild began. Monahan played with him nearly the whole year in 2013 and Johnny last year. Putting him with Bennett is not shocking and neither is having a big physical winger playing with Johnny.
Depending how the season goes I would t be surprised to see either Hudler reunited with Monahan and Johnny or have Johnny slide down to play with Bennett and Hudler

That's exactly it. Hartley must be wetting his pants. There are just so many combinations to play with. If a line goes stale during the season, it won't be hard to make adjustments.
Hudler being magic with rookies should lead us to believe he'll start the season alongside Bennett.
