That's the first time i've ever seen a 5 and a game for slashing...intent to injure or not....unless someone can dig something up

Not sure what to think of that call...it looked like a fairly "pedestrian" slash but then again when you aim that high up a guys arm to slash him, you are intending to injure without question.

MTL scores anyhow so it all squares up.

It's a shorty! Just like the Flames the Habs can score when killing a 5 minute major.

Yeah... how about that broken wrist?

I wasn't quite sure how you were all able to so quickly diagnose it...

Well, it might have broken his wrist. That would take him out of the series.

If his wrist is broken do we see supplemental discipline?

Exactly, players don't use their wrists for anything in hockey, PK missed a huge opportunity there.

I wasn't expecting a really high scoring series. I hope it continues like this for the entire thing!

And Stone is back. Not saying it didn't deserve a penalty or the slash didn't hurt, but I think he embellished that a little.

Shockingly Stone is back. They must have replaced his bones with adamantium.

*the above post is dripping with sarcasm

I have nothing against the Habs, but I find it immensely satisfying when the opposing team scores and an awkward hush comes over the crowd.

Mark Stone does a fantastic soccer player impression. I guess the concern is people going soccer style after every single slash now and getting people misconducts. Legit.
