Wow - scores are ugly today! Looks like even par is an excellent round. I'd like it to be no more than 2 strokes lead going into the weekend. Lots of room to strike for sure.

Spieth -6, Dechambeau -4, Rory -3
Kind of emotional watching Tom Watson finish up on 18, the guy has been playing in the PGA longer than I've been alive. Legend.

Back to back bogies for the second time today for Jordan, and you gotta think being put on the clock is in his head a little. Should be a fascinating pairing if it's Rory because Rory is one of the fastest players and Spieth is one of the slowest. The Speith group is a full hole and a half behind which is just ridiculous. Huge bogey possibly too because Augusta does the 10 shot rule, so everyone at +6 is alive right now (including Bubba).

I was kinda thinking don't get to -4, not triple bogey 18....whoops. But it's really good Jordan fell back because with more windy conditions tomorrow, realistically anyone who is within 6-7 shots is still in this. Go out early and post a 67 and hope the leaders keep coming back. Sorry for the jinx in advance, but I kinda like Dustin Johnson just lurking at even.

Supposed to be windy again tomorrow. I don't think there is a 67 on that course the way it played today.

I'll be surprised if there are more than 3-4 players in the 60's. If someone at +1 or better can shoot 69, they're going to be right in the mix tomorrow.
Rooting for Rory McIlroy, Brandt Snedeker, Hideki Matsuyama, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day, Paul Casey.

DeChambeau had it to -4 yesterday with 3 holes left, so there's birdies out there. It's all about avoiding the disaster, McIlroy, Spieth, DeChambeau, Snedeker, Garcia all had a double bogey or worse yesterday. 67 might be very difficult but I think we see someone put a round together today close to that number.

Amazing that no one shot in the 60s yesterday. Dont mind seeing this every once and while I guess, but think this type of agonizing golf where it is just about surviving should be left to the US Open. The Master's is all about highlight reel and memorable shots- hope we still get some of that. Cant control the wind, but the pin positions and firmness of the course is set up to be very difficult. I heard a few commentators speculate that the winning score may only be a few strokes under par- so either Speith and Mcilroy shooting the final 2 rounds under par may get it done. Apparently the first hole is going to be insanely difficult today.

Well if we saw a US Open with this kind of wind the leader right now would be at +5 or so, and we'd for sure see more rounds in the 80s than the 60s. But its not wet enough with the wind so the course is bone dry right now. Anything inside 25 feet today will be a great approach shot. And 67....yeah maybe not, only three rounds under par so far and those are all guys thru 2 holes only.

Maybe Langer will drop a 67. Three straight birdies and he's within 3, with Jordan putting lights out making him hard to catch.

11 sure tightened things up a bit. Both Rory and Spieth with double bogeys.
