Crazy enough, they probably had too many cooks in the kitchen to start the season.
They still have Poirier, Hanowski, Knight, Hathaway, Agostino, and Arnold. Not to mention Elson, Van Brabant, and Wolf. That's still a solid top-9 for an AHL squad.

"Gold medal game, what are you thinking? Glove side? Five-hole? Top shelf?"

Agreed, Jooris goes into the corner fearlessly and stops the puck from leaving the offensive zone so effectively it would be a mistake to send him down. Brings an extremely valuable skill to the team.

I'm still happy we ended up with Monahan obviously, but Lindholm is still going to be a really nice player in this league.
