To be fair, neither team in that game deserved two points.

When Burkie made that move the other day, I think rebuilding is now off the table. They are going for win now and screw rebuilding. Expect some changes with players personnel anytime soon. I wouldn't surprise if Burkie makes another move before he hires a new GM.

As for this game there was a lot of positive stuff happens especially overall defensively.

Surprised it has not been mentioned that it was the guys first win in Buffalo since 1996. Now if we could just shake that Honda Center curse.

Also surprised at the amount of negative comments. It was a noon game, on a Saturday, after a long travel day. Yes it was not brilliant or exciting, but a good road game for the team overall. On to NY

Burke said we are in the crawl to walk stage… those calling for a win now mode are so wrong…… If he can accelerate it, then that will be awesome.

the team currently built is NOT a winning squad BUT they play like one… if they beat teams like LA, Carolina, Chicago… then it says more about the other teams.

SHUT UP.

you can't be serious?

you seriously have never played a serious game before… who plays to lose? players in the NHL have reasons to play hard and not tank… reasons like they get traded, miss out on big contracts, reduced ice time or get sent down to the AHL…

This team is NOT built to win, but they keep doing it. Our kids playing in a winning environment where they have to make it to the big club is the EXACT thing this team needs…

free ice time to Rookies is a receipt for disaster.

I only saw the third and OT but in that span I thought Backlund was the best player on the ice.
