Calgary Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel is pleased to announce the signing of three non-import players — offensive lineman Brad Erdos, receiver Yannick Morin-Plante and running back Charlie Power. As per team policy, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

Now that's a name! Charlie Power.

So far I like Huf's move this off-season. Both McPherson and Mallet are good players. MacPherson didn't got a chance to shine playing second-fiddle to the Als' legend QB Calvillo while Mallet won rookie of the year in BC but he's been injured but already 100% healed. I think Huf is still not convinced Drew Tate will be playing a full season. Mallet will be a good backup for Cornish and can also be a returner.

Jeff Fuller has re-signed with the Stamps. I thought he would give NFL a try again but good for us. Looking for forward to what he can do over a full season.

Stamps have arguably the best receiving core in the league. But what isn't up for debate is that the Stamps have the most potential in their receiving core if West and Fuller pan out. If those guys pan out them BLM is going to have an incredible arsenal to work with (as opposed to a great arsenal of receivers)

Ya apparently Jeff Fuller had some offers from the NFL but chose to sign with Calgary for one year plus an option in 2015.
He's gonna be a beast next year.
Fuller, Lewis, McDaniel, Price, West, Arthur, Forzani etc.
That is a crazy good receiving core!

Is BLM going to be the starter to begin the season? I assumed Tate will get the opportunity to start and then when he gets hurt (and he will) BLM will be given a chance.

I'm working under two assumptions. BLM is the better QB (talent wise and composure). And second, Tate likely gets hurt walking into the locker room to begin training camp.
