Backlund figures in there as well. Reinhart in the mix soon too.

Fred Parker. Probably saw a ton of both Ottawa and Gatineau.

I hope Sean gets sent back to juniors. He won't be with the 67s for the entire season. He'll get traded to a contender for sure

That's why the Prudential Center is going to get hit by an asteroid later today, wiping out the entire draft class. All those 13's are just too big a target.
Don't say you weren't warned.

Would be nice to see him play a couple games for the Flames, then go back to the OHL and get traded to a contender and play some meaningful playoff games.

I wonder what the chances are that we have Jankowski (his uncle's the head scout of Team Canada), Pourier (his head coach is the assistant coach of Team Canada) and Monahan in the WJs?
It'd be one hell of a fun WJC if any of them make it, that's for sure.

I hadn't noticed that all the previous picks also had the #13. When Feaster handed it to Monahan I thought it was in really bad taste to be handing out Cammalleri's number like that! I thought a deal for him to be gone must've fell through and how this must be pretty embarrassing for Jay!
Doh!
I realized what was going on a player or two later. I'm not too bright sometimes!
Oh, and welcome aboard Sean Monahan! I've got high hopes for this kid (obviously!)!

Ugh. They have a shampoo-drinking contest at the combine?!
Oh, wait. Thought you said VO5. My bad.

I wish the Flames could've drafted a franchise C (Mackinnon or Barkov). However, I am so happy Feaster kept the 6th pick and took a heart and soul C who will play a great 2-way game. Even if he's not a franchise C, he will play a very important role during the rebuild.

didn't know where yo put this, but I sat in that section where he signed that autograph. He seemed to spend the most time with the fans out of the prospects. Not all prospects stopped to sign so I thought that spoke highly of him.
