If I wasn't so lazy I would check out the fanattic stores for one in my size. I only checked the online stock.

How exactly are the Flames going to give away the fans money for 50/50 when there hasn't been a 50/50 this year?
|
Because they do all their giving from the Flames Foundation, which gets the proceeds of the 50/50.
Now if the owners buck up and put up REAL MONEY that's a different thing.
But all we get is 1/2 price (junk) food and (junk) merchandise.
What a freakin' joke.

Not too bad, IMO.

Compared to the Kings hockey club giving a million bucks of their own money back to the community it's pretty pithy.
Typical noveau riche Calgarians.

Man, you are the most depressing poster I have seen on this board. Nothing seems to please you. Lockout = Taxbuster is mad. No lockout, the Flames make some nice gestures = Taxbuster is mad. Why even bother posting or watching the NHL at this point? All it seems to do is make you unhappy, which will lead to ulcers or somesuch.
Have a smoothie, take a walk, and chill buddy. And if this is untenable to you, then quit the NHL all together. But for the love of god, happy up would ya?

Half price junk and half price merch will probably save me $100 this weekend. I am quite satisfied with that. Though, of course, I don't have the same sense of entitlement that taxbuster's ghost did.

Kind of peeved as a game pack holder. None of the game packs the Flames offered up include tickets to the first 2 games.

Yeah those Flames owners are real noveau rich, giveing nothing back to community themselves. You might want to educate yourself about the ownership group and what they have given back personally. Here is a start:
http://flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=40745
Or do they have to donate in the name of the hockey club itself?

Thinking of getting a SVEN BAERTSCHI jersey... is 47 his permanent number for the Flames or is it just until he gets a spot on the team permanently?

There was a story in the Sun a couple days ago where he said he was offered a different number, but chose not to change, in part because he knew fans were already buying jerseys with #47. The story said he would have considered switching to 27 if it was available, but otherwise, he's not changing.

Even if he does change I think it'd be cool to have the old number. A #24 Iginla would be a pretty sweet jersey.

Just ordered:
Home - SVEN BAERTSCHI 47
Away - MARK GIORDANO 5
and Letter Packaging to add Iginla to my blank Heritage Classic Jersey!
SO EXCITED!!! Really appreciate that the Flames are giving the 50% discount. Been waiting a long time for this!
