If you're playing guess-the-callup, #Flames farmhand Drew Shore is a scratch tonight for AHL Stockton.
I thought the Flames used up their emergency call ups? Drew Shore is an interesting one. Once I highly touted prospect has seemed to plateaued at the American level. I wonder what would happen if be was thrown to the wolves at the NHL level.

Can't use up emergency call ups, with the Bouma injury and no extra forward on the roster Flames are allowed to call up any forward from the Heat
I really feel like the Flames need to look at what's going on in Stockton. It's a developmental league, I get it. I would like to see our kids develop a winning attitude. Let's get this team into the damn playoffs!
Charlotte has 80 pts with 3 games remaining. If they lose out, their final Pts% will be 0.526. If they get at least a single point in their remaining games, their Pts% will be at least 0.533.
San Jose has 71 pts with 2 games remaining (both against Stockton next weekend). If they lose out, their final Pts% will be 0.522.
Stockton has 64 pts with 4 games remaining. If they win out, their final Pts% will be 0.529.
The only way Stockton can make the playoffs is if they win all their remaining games (defeating San Jose in regulation both times) and Charlotte loses all of theirs in regulation.
Charlotte and Stockton both play on Sunday. If Charlotte gets at least a point or Stockton loses at least a point, the Heat will be officially eliminated from playoff contention. Charlotte plays at noon Eastern, so Stockton will know if they even have a hope before the puck drops in their own game.
