^^ I like the leadership on your top line. 3 captains there on their respective teams, Toews could be an A as well as Brown and Morrow could be your Captain. You got a good 2nd line as well, Bourque is your shooter Plekanec is the distibuter and Ladd works down low really well and grinds out his points. Pretty great top 6.
Have to love Beerfest's top 6 as well though, Alffy/Selanne as your 1/2 RW's is crazy, Giourx is an up and coming center who shows potential of being a permanent #1 and a solid 2nd line center in Pavelski who can play in all situations. Benn and Ennis are amazing value and bring Beerfest's overall top 6 to an amazing cap hit. Two very different top 6's and two very good top 6's. I would take Beerfests over PlayfulGenius's only because of the value of Beerfest's line up.

I'd like his better if he had Alfie from 3-4 years ago... he's past his due, IMO.
Selanne is still, some-how, the real-deal though
In my Top 6, there are a total of 4 Captains, as Ladd is as well.

I like your first line. Heatley would be really great with Datsyuk.

I skipped over Savard in the autopicks because he isn't going to be playing... I think doc should pick again.
If he was playing, that'd be a hell of a top 6... though Savard would have been picked long ago.

He was fair game in the NHL redraft (Dropped to the 6th round) but I can pick someone else if needed. I would make a case about Crosby being hurt but he will probably be back late season

It's up to you guys. I'm sure many passed on him thinking he would serve no purpose as he's done for the year. I have several ideas who I could pick instead. I'll PM you a mini list for if you guys vote against the pick

Thanks for picking for me PlayfulGenius, I was at uni all day, and then the rest of the day was spent trying to set up my laptop which still isn't set up :s. Glad I got a solid top 6 forward in Mueller (when healthy) and another minute logging defenseman as OEL obviously isn't ready for top pairing minutes as of yet

The main reason I say we should pass on Savard is that he would have went much early as one of the autopicks... and the NHL.com draft was done before the announcement that he's not playing this year, or likely ever.

Im looking to put together a team that would be able to do good this year. I wasnt even considering Savard because of this.
Id let him keep Savard if he wants to. Mueller is still apparently having concussion issues also.

I changed my pick as someone else would of selected him earlier if they known he was available. I changed my selection to:
Alexander Steen, C, $3,362,500
