I’ve never heard anyone say that the Canucks and Flames are their two favourite teams. Is that even possible? I’ve lived in Vancouver for 20 years and still hate them as much as I ever did. Too much historical hate to like both teams. My Canucks buddies are the same way. Unless you don’t really care about either I guess. Kessler, Burrows, Bertuzzi and worst of all….Bieksa.

I grew up in Victoria and was a diehard Canucks fan. Moved here in the 80's and was indifferent for 20 years. The 04 run won me over. In 2011 I was cheering hard for the Bruins. Now I'm back to indifference.

But he doesn't have that much power on the Flames or Canucks roster to be singularly responsible for wins and losses.

He's a 5th defenseman.

The Flames have played better hockey and Markstrom has been great. It isn't a Zadorov out Flames better thing. To think so is silly.

I know we had this debate when he was moved...I said the Flames would do no worse and you said their 3rd pair would be caved in so bad ect. ect.

Their record is better since he left so they don't miss him much IMO

I think he had some exciting hits but often tried to do too much which was detrimental to the team...more so this year, maybe for contract reasons?
