Well. That was less than ideal. What was Carducci doing there? Make him beat you.

Yeah Calgary has looked tired in extra time.

Carducci needs to come out way more decisively there to attack that ball

TBH throughout the whole game I was surprised we weren't seeing more quick played long balls over the top, way easier for an attacker to attack That in this weather than for a defender to turn and get back

Man I don't want to hear other teams bitch about the Cavs tactics anymore. Ottawa is an absolute bunch of trash.

Another finals classic. Pity we are on the wrong side of it again.

Well at least we put up a fight after a pretty mediocre regular season. It was always going to be nearly impossible to win after finishing outside the top 2.

Unfortunately another big game where Carducci is the second best keeper on the pitch by a considerable distance.

A bigger problem for me than Carducci, was leaving Ottawa’s best player so open on the wing.

Great game - very entertaining.

Better to lose to Atletico than to Forge, this sucks but I could definitely feel worse

Well I guess I’m on the other side from the comments here. I thought that this was totally bush league. The initial 90 minutes was brutal, and then you have a massive break while they clear the field and completely change the conditions for extra time? That’s ludicrous.

I don’t think it’s sour grapes, because I know both teams had the same issues and Cavalry just got caught. I just think it’s ridiculous to have that kid of thing in the title game.

I'm not sure what I watched yesterday but that was a game that will live on in everyone's memory for a long time.

The better team on paper won. The better team on the night won. And yet it still took a bicycle kick in the snow and a goal line clearance for Cavalry to go down to defeat.

Rollercoaster of a season.

Not sure what kind of deal with the devil Ottawa did to end up with the most outrageous luck against Cavalry. Bicycle kick in the snow. You gotta be kidding me. Add it to the list of super lucky plays/Cavs mistakes for Ottawa.

I thought David Rodriguez was the most talented player in the league this year.

Proud of the Cavs. Weird year. They overperformed expectations while also underperforming. It’s a disappointing season compared to preseason expectations and how they played against PUMAS. No Concacaf sucks. But the season itself by August I don’t think anyone expected them to make a final.

Hopefully they make some changes and figure out how to win a road game. What those changes are. I’m not too sure. Maybe a CB and a midfielder. Try and get Gherisamencov back here for next year.
