In a speech tonight, a Friday, trump said it was Saturday.
Have any of the folks saying the two of them are the same ever listened to a recent trump verbal diatribe? He slurs his words, mispronounces words constantly, he gets things and peoples names confused, hes a sweaty orange mess.

Texas woman is sentenced to 3 years in prison for threatening judge overseeing Trump documents case
Quote:
HOUSTON (AP) — A Texas woman was sentenced Friday to three years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of threatening a Florida judge who is overseeing the criminal case against former President Donald Trump’s handling of classified documents.
Tiffani Gish, 50, of Houston, pleaded guilty in November to threatening U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon. The Justice Department said Gish left voicemails threatening to kill the judge while claiming to be a member of several military combat units. She was also sentenced to three years of supervised release.
“Holding Tiffani Gish accountable for her threats to assassinate a federal judge sends a strong message that we have no tolerance for those – who often hide behind a far-off keyboard or phone line – seeking to undermine our democratic institutions by threatening the safety of the people who help those same institutions thrive," U.S. Attorney Alamdar Hamdani said in a statement.

His orange messiness has clearly gotten a lot worse. It's like he doesn't even care about an even application of Cheeto Orange these days. Sad times.

Not sure what Trump has to do with this or why you would bring it up, other than to deflect and poison the well.
"The decision on Thursday not to file criminal charges against President Biden for mishandling classified documents should have been an unequivocal legal exoneration.
Instead, it was a political disaster.
The investigation into Mr. Biden’s handling of the documents after being vice president concluded that he was a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory” and had “diminished faculties in advancing age” — such startling assertions that they prompted a fiery and emotional attempt at political damage control from the president within hours."
Look at it however you want, the guy should be in the old folks home, not running what's considered the most powerful nation on earth.
His press conference came across as bitter and petulant as he insulted reporters, kinda like Trump, since he needs to be included in every us political discussion.
Biden is a train wreck, looks weak, and unless the DNC can come up with a candidate who can inspire all Americans, everyone here can look forward to whining about the orange man for another 4 years.
|
Because the only excuse that Biden supporters have right now is to say 'but look Trump.'
Which is laughably pathetic, because I have yet to see a single poster in this thread say they support Trump.
The whataboutism is unreal to watch.

You realize that it's going to be a binary choice between Trump and Biden, right? So, while I completely support the notion that all politicians/leaders should be held accountable at all times, this conversation really boils down to which one of these guys is worse. It's clearly Trump. For those that don't think Trump is not only worse in almost every way, but also an active danger to the Western world, they are either willfully blind or stupid.

No, they're in a state of denial, just like most of the posters here on CP since the report came out the other day.
It seems its hard to admit the truth when it punches you in the face over and over again.

There is no denial. Biden isn’t perfect.
Still, the chance of Trump beating anyone else is a real risk that cannot be denied.
Want to disqualify both and choose different on both sides? Works for me, let’s go. But that isn’t a real possibility.

I can't believe this would even be a debate. Biden is ten times the president Trump is - always has and always will be. From intelligence, leadership, empathy, maturity and humanity levels (among many other qualities), Biden runs circles around Cheeto Benito - and I'm not even his biggest fan either. Trump has been, and always will be, the worst choice to lead that country.
The fact that a womanizing, cult of personality charlatan like Trump still has the support he does, is incredibly sad and is really an indictment on the state of the education system in the US. Biden is always the better choice.

Yeah no one is saying Biden is amazing. But the choice is clearly between Trump and Biden, so it's a no-brainer.

Clinton was a no-brainer vs Trump too, but she still lost because she wasn't a great candidate and the Democrats ran a terrible campaign that largely ignored the concerns of a big chunk of swing state voters.
Given his age, Biden should have been considered a 1-term President from day 1 and there should have been at least some attempt at building a succession plan over the last 3 years. Maybe it wouldn't have worked, or maybe Biden would have remained popular, in which case you give him another shot. But they did nothing and now they have a declining 81 year old with a 40% approval rating, a useless VP with a 35% approval rating, and basically no indication that they're going to change their path.
Even the special counsel thing that just came out questioning Biden's capacity was an own goal. In a vain attempt to appear non-partisan, Biden's Attorney General tasked a Trump-appointed Republican to handle the investigation and that was the result.

I agree with all of that. But there wasn't And that's where we stand today. Unless something medical or something happens, the choice comes down to Biden vs Trump. Biden may indeed be senile, but compared to Trump, he's Einstein.

I just don't understand how some posters here are thinking exactly like the Democrats are. Always worried about the other side as opposed to what we in hockey say "looking after your own end, play my game etc"
You have Biden voters and supporters who are polling at historic lows, way below Trump during his Covid era and post January 6. Process that! Process that in hockey terms "A recent poll of Oiler and Maple Leaf fans show that they feel their teams are garbage, bottom feeders" Management thinks they are winning the Cup.
We have Democrats talking about the seriousness of electing Trump again but refuse to say that his opponent is weak.
We are suppose to be going into the biggest game of the year with everything on the line. Having the other side win would lead to catastrophic consequences for the team. Management decides to put me in net, Curves, who hasn't strapped on the pads since I was 12. That's the strategy here.
I get the hate for not wanting Trump, but what do people reasonably expect to occur here? If Trump wins, are Democrats going to waste everybody's time opposing him or will they do the honorable thing and resign in masses for allowing this **** up to occur ?? They don't deserve another nickel from American taxpayers in salary for allowing this to occur fully knowing this was a mitigated risk that could have been reduced by SOMEONE making an adult decision.

Haha always with the hot takes. I feel like the world and the way literally everything works, how decisions are made, the big picture...everything...is completely beyond your comprehension.
