They're young. It's forbidden to be talked about on here for some reason, but Gaudreau and Monahan party pretty hard. You give them nine days off and it's like starting training camp over again. Honestly.

It's part of growing up, but its' frustrating as hell.

For a team that supposedly added players with give #### attitudes, they sure played like they didn't.

the positive is that who the players you keep and the players you try to move are should become theoretically clearer

At least I no longer have the stress of playoff hockey in my life, so that's a relief.

Oh I will but I just can't see myself thinking this was a success. This series and especially this game is gonna leave a sour taste for a VERY long time.

Sometimes an asskicking is needed to get thing straightened out in the future.

Unless it's a $30 China jersey...

Wow .... Didn't expect this series collapse, but if we somehow got through Colorado we would have been slaughtered in round 2.

Colorado was just more hungry, no fire from the flames. Seems to have been the case since January.

Smith and Andersson too. Lindholm. Wasn't amazing but he wasn't on the wrong side of the line either.

Given how the first 4 games went, nothing about this surprises me much. Pretty much on point for expectations given what they showed of their mental game in the earlier games.
