When this is finally over and we take a few days to get over it, will we think the season was a success? I'd have to say a resounding no but curious to see what others think. That conference/division banner will have zero meaning to me.

Tkachuk with 2 or 3 flybys where he could have laid right into Landeskog there

Unacceptable

Can’t wait to overpay him this summer

Which is why one of two things have to happen:

You get that impact player to play along with him so they can't focus on just one player that they can physically dominate. (Would help for Gaudreau to perhaps improve his fitness and strength to make him stand up to it better)

Or, you trade him and get what you can since if you're best player isn't going to able to be your best in the post-season, then what's the point in having them?

Something to consider... It'd be nice if a team could negate contracts or lessen terms when the player falls off. #neal
