That's definitely the preferred way to go but for which system (PS4 or PS3) are you going to buy the game on?

ps4. everybody says gameplay is similar but i didn't find that to be the case.

True. But so many things missing from the game. I spent just under 6 hours with it over the weekend from my EA Access account and the deal breaker for me is no custom AI. The fact we still can just enter the offensive zone every time completely kills the game for me. Its so boring. Just skate up the ice each time and the CPU always backs off and lets you in, even on superstar with all the difficulter slider up. THis is why i stopped playing 14 after a week. The same old formula just gets old after awhile. Its not realistic at all.

What I want to know is if I start a Be a GM mode now, will the new draft features that are to be added be included in my existing save, or will only new campaigns allow for these changes to be included?

Maybe you're better at the game than I am, but I've played every year for since 98 (so I've got it down) and I've been laid out or tied up significantly more the moment I stepped in the zone compared to previous years.

Have you tried not depending on formulas you think take advantage of a break in the game mechanics and just played?

Wow, did they ever mess up the menu system. It's a horrible mess.

I like the game play. But they made the menus, while much prettier, a cluster bomb.

I don't hate it so far, but it's definitely not great.

The gameplay makes up for it though.

Trading system still is goofy.

In real life, yes, but in the game I can prob go deep in the playoffs with Malkin on my first line, even on hardcore superstar.

Thats why I traded for him. That and he is under contract for a bit, which lets me develop Bennett.

yeah but their half-assed game will still sell their the only game in town

Most years Madden and NHL are basically roster updates
new Battlefeild comes out broken each year

I still haven't been able to install the game. Stuck at 8% installation. It moved a whole 5% in 5 hours while I slept.

i just love the EA forums, they represent all that is wrong with the internet. they appear to have spawned puppet accounts talking about how great the game is and they delete and ban any time they feel like it. and the moderators troll all the time as they have no repercussions.

jobo, we know each other pretty well, and i just don't know how you can be a part of that group. it's embarrassing how they treat their customers.

i was hoping for any kind of patch that had small "gimmes" to offset some of hte negativity of the launch (something small like 3 stars, or something), but the game is the same as the early access.

I think it's important to point out that this is just the NHL forums. The madden and FIFA forums don't seem to have this issue. But both of those games weren't utter disappointments either so that probably has a role to play.
