No, I don't. It's a downer, too. I've been on Android for probably 10 years, but I still miss that from my Apple. I have to call a number like it's 1997, press 1 to listen to my messages and press 7 to delete them. It's a total PITA.

I thought Android had an equivalent? Maybe you need to talk to your carrier. We gave our daughter our old iPhone and it defaulted back to that old way. I sent a service ticket to Rogers and they activated it right away.

I'm not paying $60 a year to have my voicemails "Hi son, it's your dad calling, please call me back" and "This is your dentist calling, you're overdue to bring our teeth back in for a check up" converted to text.

Visual voice-mail. Imagine calling and seeing a live shot of the inside of a toilet stall , pants down, face blurred and stating it's pretty obvious I'm on thr thinker right now....let's chat soon but right now I gotta put the phone down and use both hands

So the old iPhone voicemail was carrier specific and cost an extra $5 a month (on Rogers anyway, dicks). What Live Voicemail on iOS 17 does is act as the voicemail system. It answers the call locally on the device, and as it records the voicemail you can see the live text transcription so you can interrupt the voicemail to answer the call if you want, like what the family answering machine on the landline use to be like. It's pretty nice.
