Hey dumb-dumb, I'm aware. I said that's what needs to happen. I never said that's what is guaranteed to happen.

Hey dumb-dumb, we all know what needs to happen. We also mostly know we're talking about Americans needing to do this so it's fairly hopeless.

Exactly. Trump gone does not solve what's going on in the US now.

Okay guys, we all know what needs to happen. No one post anymore. We don't need Senator Poo Breath getting upset.

Not that the MAGA would care, but The Guardian is reporting that the DOJ interview with Ghislaine Maxwell whitewashed associated Trump officials.
Quote:
For example, Blanche asked Maxwell whether people around Epstein – including the numerous high-profile and powerful men who had known him – were associating with him for the purpose of sexual encounters. In her reply Maxwell said that some of the “cast of characters” around Epstein were “in your cabinet, who you value as your co-workers”.
Despite the fact that Maxwell had just openly mentioned Epstein associates as being in Trump’s current cabinet, Blanche – a hardened lawyer not known for missing a trick in trial argument – did not pause to ask Maxwell to identify the cabinet members she was referring to.

Well I would take a lot more of Bush’s incompetence and idiotic foreign policy over the insidious regime we are bearing witness to right now.

Bush was an incompetent war criminal nepo baby responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, invaded the wrong country, etc etc...
Would take him back for a 20 year term over Trump's remaining 3.5.
He was a dipsh-t but at least he cared about America.

It's pretty weird that the guy who loves the camera, loves posting on social media etc has only been seen in a couple of grainy pictures over the weekend. Wouldn't it be much more on brand to do a bunch of "I'm alive" tweets and take some potshots at the woke liberal media?
The silence is deafening.

And what the WH does post is just giant lies. This morning was that they have collected 8 trillion dollars in tariffs (gee I wonder where that money comes from?) and that theres hundreds of thousands of new jobs.

I don't think Trump going away gets rid of the attitudes of the millions of people that support the ideas, but what I think it does is rid them of the mouthpiece that somehow gets these messages through without coming across like a complete lunatic to everyone (actual lunacy, notwithstanding).
I think if you have anyone but Trump saying the things he does, and being who he is, many more people start to go like "uhhhh wait what did they say?" He's literally a clown I think there's a contingent of people that genuinely don't take him seriously, and think he's a harmless goofball that's giving them tax breaks and says funny things on the news. But as soon as JD Vance (or any minion) is the one actually leading the charge, they won't be able to navigate questions and scandals in the same way and will lose the fervour that Trump seems to drive in the base of the party.

Sounds like the subpoena for Robert Mueller to testify on the Epstein files has been withdrawn as he's been diagnosed with Parkinson's.

Oh please. If Michael J. Fox can cameo on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Robert Mueller can testify on a matter of national importance.

If you look at revolutions of the past what happens after the first group in power leaves is a fight to consolidate power. The movement turns in on itself and starts to eat its own. But the end result of such a movement is wildly varied. The French Revolution after killing multiple rounds of its own leadership ends with Napoleon taking over, you have Stalin consolidating power after Lenin. Or you have the Mexican Revolution which Diaz fails to handle presidential succession and with no clear leader you get 10 years of revolutionary war.
Now the US isn’t removed from the expectation of democracy yet so perhaps there is a return to previous norms but history suggests that just because there is a power vacuum due to the lack of a charismatic leader doesn’t mean that it’s a return to the previous type of order.
What the judicial and legislative branches decide to do post Trump will determine outcomes. If they are still sycophants to whatever ruling group takes over then they become a legitimate government. So while I agree there is no replacing Trump I don’t think one can assume that the lack of a trump means a return to the previous status quo.
