If the did that livery, but with the polished aluminum replacing the grey.... god it would awesome.
Agreed, but I believe the main reason for eliminating the polished aluminum is the fact that more and more of new aircraft have the composites. Which you can't polish up. When AA was flying the A300 they had a grey paint scheme applied on the fuselage in lieu of aluminum.

Tristars ruled. Pity the RAF has replaced them with A330's, now we don't get them in YYC anymore.
I always preferred the look to DC-10's/MD-11's. Love the s-duct design on the tail. I have no idea if they flew any better or worse, but they are such an awesome looking airplane.
Your only problem would be finding a lawyer to defend you in court.
If you got the lucky shot that actually hit an intake the fan would chew that ball up and spot it out and the pilot probably wouldn't even know it happened. You might tweak a blade so the airline would not be happy.
