I'm not surprised that's the only thing you point out. It's easier than addressing the actual argument. Is that you trying to make me seem petty? I don't seek the video of mistakes, I know it's there, I thought it sounded better this way. I watch other highlights as well, and I watch both wins and losses.
I've had the discussion of his defensive ability numerous times. Other posters often get distracted by the big hits, the goals, and his mean streak. Even here posters are suggesting he's better than Hanifin. That's why it's easy to have an example handy. I don't think this team would be any worse if we had a Gustafsson(825k, signed as a free agent) on the 3rd pairing instead.

I just found it odd and amusing that you would watch video to remind yourself not to like someone. Also, someone on this team needs to have a mean streak and hit still so I disagree about Gustafson having the same impact to the team that Zadorov does. I do agree though that Hanifin has more of a positive defensive impact.

All depends on what he signs for. Fan favourite at his current cap hit or less. Whipping boy at 5+

Big time. This team could really use some inexpensive, effective snarl.

Hopefully Sharangovich renews his passport before he leaves Belarus. The country has banned citizens from renewing their travel documents remotely, which means if they expire, they need to report back to Belarus. The intention seems to be to force dissidents to return, but I can see it just becoming a bureaucratic nightmare.

He returns to Belarus every year, so I don't think it should be a problem.

Good to see him succeed but too bad he didn't want to stay here.
He's too slow...
He's too old...
He can't keep up with skilled players...
Last year was a career year, he won't repeat...
blah, blah, blah....
He scores goals.
We need goals.
I miss having him on this team.

Technically, he did want to stay, at least at first. He said he waited around hoping to get a contract extension offer, but saw none were coming, then asked to be traded.
Anyway, too early to judge the trade in the long term.

Apparently he wanted to stay but wanted a long term deal which Conroy wouldn’t do and he requested a trade right after. Sucks the Flames had to trade him in an offseason where a lot of players were available for free and the return they got was terrible.

Sick asset management..
I wonder if we'll ever be a team that turns a sharangovich into a toffoli to fortify an already good and skilled roster.
Wake me up when that day comes. I'll probably be long gone by then though.

Sharangovich and Suniev.
Let's wait and see before bumping threads about a player that wanted a long term contract turning 32, especially from the same wingos that wanted a rebuild.

Sharangovich only gets better and better with each passing game.
Maybe we should wait and see all the way around.

I'm...not sure of the timing there, was that Conroy's call?
Either way, great for Toffoli, loved him as a Flame, but we're making decisions on how many 30+ long-term contracts we can realistically hand out.

I'm sure Huberdeau become a point per game in East Conference. Eastern teams look like to play his type of game, and less physical game.

He wanted a six year deal from the Flames...they did fine
some of you complain no matter what the Flames do. Obviously there wasn't a huge market for the guy. Taylor Hall was given away around the same period
if they Flames trade Lindholm or Hanifin they will do well too, they are good players
