lol

This is fun.

Cheering for a winner, and it's made 1,000,000 funner given the amount of young Flames prospects that are driving this winner.

Going to be crazy to see how things shake down when the Heat roster swells once:

- The Flames are finished
- The college kids are signed
- The odd junior player shows up for a taste (ala Kulak last season)

Heat win!

6-2

9-2-1-1 at home, and the first team to 20 wins!

20-6-1-1

The Best in the league continue to be the best. Tough to win back-to-back games at home. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

The Heat have 4 of the top 11 rookie scorers in the AHL, plus another AHL rookie in net who leads the league in wins

The standings say they are 20-6-1-1 but the Heat schedule shows 21 wins 6 losses and the two OTLs. So which is it?

Was the Sep game against Utica pre-season?

When this deal with the Heat is up I fully expect the Canucks farm team to be the next tenant.

When that happens I hope they have a sh*tty hockey team playing in front of their packed house.

They won't have a packed house. They didn't even have a packed house when they were in town playing against the Heat. They sold out the Moose/Wolves/Utica games something like 4 of the 12 or 13 times they've been to town in the last 5 years.

It's not a hockey market by any means. It's a Canucks market. So many fans didn't even realize the Canucks switched affiliates this year. They're clueless for the most part.

PMM, you are the Heat insider . . . I can't remember if you have explained why the Heat simply can't be moved to Calgary? Attendance would be extremely good here and could probably play at the Markin MacPhail Centre?
