The packers suck in the trenches. It's a shame the goat is having his peak years wasted being surrounded by garbage

what a beat down. Saints look way better tonight than they have. Packers defense will be their undoing

Give Rodgers a d that can make a play and a decent offensive line and he's winning titles yearly

The Packers should spend almost every draft pick the next two years on defense. Offense clearly not a big issue.

Frustrating game to watch as a Packers fan

Good timing for the bye week since it seemed like Rodgers had a bit of hamstring issue.

Lacy looked great tonight.

Huge game by Ingram, man he runs angry. Storied NFC South 1st place showdown on Thursday night! Winner gets to .500 and the driver's seat.

Well not quite half way thru the season. As I mentioned earlier, 11 AFC teams are 4-3 or better with the Texans at 4-4. The other 4 teams have combined for 4 wins. Denver, New England, and Indy should win their divisions. That leaves 9 teams fighting for those other three spots. All 4 teams in the AFC North are in the hunt for that Division. Should be pretty competitive in the back half here. Look at the Raiders schedule...it gets tougher. Unless they beat St.Louis or KC at home they could match the 08 Lions. Although, the Chiefs have the NFL's top pass defence despite having faced Denver and San Diego and San Francisco on the road, and New England too.

In the NFC, have to tip your hat to Arizona so far. Remarkable how they find ways to win with what they have dealt with. San Fran is hanging in there. If they can get to next week at 5-3 they might be able to get some traction. Detroit is winning games they used to lose, perhaps they break thru this year. Green Bay was looking good, but they too have a couple of beat downs on the road this year. Someone will win the NFC South, likely the Saints who go 8-0 at home and 0-8 on the road....well they get Tampa so 1-7. Dallas has been impressive since the first quarter of their opener. Can they keep Murray fresh enough? Philly, so long as they stay off the West side of the country seem to be okay. Looks like 10 teams challenging for the 6 playoff spots, and surprisingly Arizona is the only team with a 2 game lead in the Division.

So far Peyton Manning is MVP and offensive player of the year. JJ Watt is defensive player of the year, and Bruce Arians coach of the year.

But, I've got to give more credit to my Cardinals. Peterson is out, (our best CB), do we panic? No, we keep playing without him. We're down 3 points with a minute and a half on 3rd down, what does Palmer do? He throws it to a rookie receiver because he believed he could make that catch.

Bruce Arians is making the Cardinals play a team game. And it's working.
I thought Foles was awful today, and Kelly had a pretty questionable game as well. Also, Nate Allen is terrible.

Foles is always terrible, a system QB at best succeeding due to Chip's schemes. With an NFL caliber QB the Eagles would be amazing.

Disclaimer: I absolutely hate Napoleon Dynamite and am patiently waiting for the day the Eagles get a real QB.

He played alright as a rookie for Reid. He's not great, but it's not like there are a lot of other options out there to replace him. I'd still take Foles over half the other starting QBs in the league. He's in the same tier as guys like Flacco and Dalton.

Elaborate on Kelly's questionable calls? What ones are you referring to? Just curious.

1. Not challenging the bad spot on Polk's run that at the very least would've been a first down, if not a TD.

2. Calling a third and inches run out of shotgun formation.

3. Kicking the FG instead of going for it on 4th and 1.

4. Punting with 5 seconds to go in the first half on the Cards' 45. Not a huge deal, but speaks to just a bizarrely conservative gameplan.

EDIT: Forgot to add the atrocious runass ratio.

Not sure what a runass ratio is but that sounds atrocious in itself.

I'm with you on the rest of the points, but #2 I disagree with. They lost ground due to point #2. In that sense when you have a chance to take the lead late in the game you do it.

At least they managed their timeouts appropriately!

Couldn't disagree more. Kicking a FG from the one is the ultimate play-not-to-lose strategy.

You don't have faith in your offense to move the ball a few inches when it matters? Even if you fail you make the Cards start from their one in a tie game having to move the ball 65+ yards just to attempt a field goal.

You play to win the game. Kelly didn't and deservedly lost.

I really thought there wasn't any hope of us winning against the Eagles with 1:20 left. But, it was a great catch by Brown.

AFC Playoff Race:

#1 DEN - 6-1
#2 NE - 6-2
#3 CIN 4-2-1
#4 IND - 5-3
#5 SD - 5-3 - WC #1
#6 BUF - 5-3 - WC #2

In the hunt:

BAL 5-3
PIT 5-3
KC 4-3
MIA 4-3
CLE 4-3
HOU 4-4

AFC is going to be interesting... Really don't know who is going to make it other than the Broncos and Pats. Chargers have a strong case for a WC spot, but KC is comin' up close now. The AFC North battle will be fun as well.

NFC Playoff Race:

#1: Arizona 6-1
#2: Dallas 6-1
#3: Detroit 6-2
#4: Carolina 3-4-1
#5: Philadelphia 5-2
#6: Green Bay 5-3

In the hunt:

San Francisco 4-3
Seattle 4-3
New Orleans 3-4
New York Giants 3-4

My dream would be seeing the 49ers/Seahawks not making it, but I highly doubt both of them miss out on the playoffs. I think the only thing that changes in the NFC is the Saints winning the NFC South and the 49ers/Seahawks bumping the Packers out of playoff contention. I really see the Lions being a threat this year with that defense.
