At this reate, we can just sit back and let the mafia kill each other.
If we even hit one member of either mafia during our next lynch, the scale really starts to tip in our favour. 5 vs 14 means you are going to start to notice the mafia really start to vocalize and start pulling strings.

devo22....now this guy really does seem suspicious. Continually bringing me up as the one to vote for..and i most certainly am not mafia.

This doesn't make any sense. Why would you make a post saying he's a guy who seems very suspicious when he was killed and confirmed mafia? I don't believe you were aware, that just doesn't make any sense with what you posted.
That would be like a homicide investigator walking into a house, looking at the dead body and saying "Now, I strongly believe this is the guy that got killed".

I'm curious what makes you so certain that SP is town? My suspicion is based off his interaction with Bizaro86 and general posting style. Obviously I could be wrong, but imo he's at least done enough to not be given the "clearly not scum" label that you've given him".
Also, I made it one day last game, now I'm on day three baby! So I'm willing to fall on my SP suspicion sword at some point. But I'm pretty sure he'll turn up mafia.

I went after him because you surmised mafia with no actual evidence, and did the same thing to me ignoring the commentary I made to reason my vote for transplant99 and Baxter Renegade.
I pulled my vote from agulati with what I feel is a valid reason too. There was too much pile on for him to be mafia. No one even came close to defending him. That spoke volumes to me.

We have been reckless with our voting to date. Jumping on small things or the want of someone who has been trying to vote activeStick since day 1 without a lick of evidence to start with, and then conveniently tries to build a case towards activeStick while we stand around stabbing ourselves.

I have no don't you pulled your vote from Agulati because there WAS a pile on. What better way to hide.

This isn't true, you pulled your vote right after I made this post defending him:

Jumping on him for what could be a mistake is in the Mafias interest as we don't really learn anything this day. I don't see why we need to have more votes than the hammer on him at this time. If we are still convinced tomorrow why not just vote tomorrow?

I had posted just before taking off on a flight to Toronto that I had a bad feeling about voting agulati.

Unvote
Vote: Baxter Renegade

You voted for him because he squirmed and then took away your vote because he squirmed. It's at the very least a bit suspicious. You say you changed your vote because no one defended him but I had defending him before you had shown any support for him. So you have been very clearly a bit contradictory with regards to Agulati now.

----Dead Post-----
Good game everyone! I mentioned everything before I was lynched, but again I'd look to the pile on and it'd be to the benefit of the town to get rid of those with poor reasoning because you will get mislead again!
Go get them!

Devo was adamant many times that lynching Transplant was a good idea... Its probably safe to say Transplant isn't a member of at least 1 mafia group.
Devo defended HockeyGuy very early on:
Quote:
don't think hockeyguy is mafia either. If anything, I appreciate him taking the iniative while being fully aware of the fact that he is making himself a target.
|
Other than this, Devo didn't say anything very damning... He played the first Mafia kill pretty well too with his shock of crossfire.

And I find it strange that any mafia member would coast so much as to receive an inactivity warning regarding their lack of posting. I truly believe now that Transplant is simply an uninterested townie, here's hoping he continues to post more and help us out.

Is it just me or is there a lot of people not saying very much in this game. I was thinking; Isn't there like 20 players left, and what like maybe 8 or 9 of us posting anything regularly?
Sure would make the game a bit more interesting if others joined in a little more. Although, I guess that could also muddy up an already muddy game.

Yes it is unfortunate that 8 people have less posts than Mazrim.

Can you do that thing where you post the list of posters and post count for quick reference? Let's see if there's anyone who stands out.

Well, my last real hunch (GGG) turned up Town, so that clears almost everything I was thinking add of the lynch last night.
Mafia crossfire is a godsend for us here, obviously. We can't count on that too happen much more, if at all, just based on numbers.
Strombad was going to be my first choice today, but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was just a bit foolish in his insistence on ActiveState. I was reading to much into it, so it's as much my fault in me falling for it.
Couple of the accusations here in day 4 ring true for me, so going to review some posts and throw my support behind one of them here soon
