Honestly, that's what 75% of the mafia members are doing as we speak lol.

Who are the other 25% of the mafia and what do you think they're doing??

They are acting like open and trusting townspeople? Probably two or three of the ten most vocal posters are scum.

No you tried to target based on saying hey everyone his posting style makes me think he's hiding something.
Then when pressed, you basically said, well dude not really but his lack of suspicious behavior makes me suspicious
Then it was, and this random number generator says its him and we need to kill random people basically.
That to me is highly suspicious.
Chances are if I'm killed tonight then your probably more mafia then townie.
in terms of suspicious behavior, I'd put your accusation of completely over a number assigned to completely, just based on your first post calling attention to him.

Do you really think a mafia member would go about his business in the way I have? I'm simply remarking how unfounded most of the accusations have been in this game so far.

Your right, thats the game right. But the problem is that sometimes people trip themselves up, and that flashes alarm bells.
You flashed my alarm bells as a vocal member of the community.

Its as good a lead as any right now. So do I think a mafia member would go about the business in that way?
Absolutely.
Calling out a member for one reason
Then admitting its not the reason and then finding a reason to call a vote on that same reason out of left field
Sure why not
We're looking for suspicious behavior, yours is suspicious.
Sorry to pile on to you, but man, what you did seems like a pretty big trip up, or a strategy gone wrong.

Edt that line,
Then finding a different really random bizarre reason out of left field.

I have been assuming that the mafia has been approaching this in many different ways. So yes, I would think the mafia would go about business the way you have and probably a number of other strategies.

So I'm going to take a huge risk here, because I think I've cornered myself twice over
unvote
vote Lego Man
There are more then enough votes to hang Agulati based on a suspicious post that I started the vote on because it looked like a mafia mistaken post. But I want to to show honestly that I'm backing my suspicions
if Lego is scum, chances are the mafia is going to nightkill me to see if they can silence me and tomorrow they can do damage recovery and shift suspicion elsewhere.
If Lego is a villager, the mafia might try to kill me to shift the next lynch to Lego.

I totally agree that Legoman has had some quirks that made me question his intentions. I am not willing to change my vote at this time but going forward I am going to be considering what he is saying.

Even though I said I was done, I guess I am technically not dead yet.
Your post basically says your death could mean lego is mafia or could also mean lego is village. So basically your death will be not helpful to the townsfolk.
Lego has been contradictory as well, and his posts have definitely been quite suspicious. activeStick is not very active either.

Just so the town would know where I stood, when my card flips town.
Also only death can exonerate me. So I shall wait for all your personal apologies in my PMs after the card flip.

I think CC just might have thrown himself to the wolves, But he has done some pretty good detective work. CC might be wrong with Agulati but at least he noticed the fault. And now Legoman has been acting funny and drawing attention to himself. I think that if the doctors out there we should keep CC in this, He's been actually helping figure out who's who. Not just wasting time slinging mud seeing if it sticks.

Any desire to unvote on Agulati?
I think we would be better off voting the following people instead of Agulati as I think we learn something about them or are less useful then even a compromised Agulati (If Agulati flips mafia I am in trouble tomorrow)
My list in order of preference and would rather we vote out instead of Agulati today.
Legoman / Strobad / Activestick 1 of these is likely mafia. Based on Legos interaction with CC he is a leading candidate If Lego is Strombad is.
Baxter Renegade - Was inactive, was called out for being inactive, then became much more active
Transplant99 - not helpful to the town cause as doesn't have time to play
We would need 5 unvotes before 10 to have more discussion. The problem with killing Agulati today is that we don't gain much from his card flip. Lets kill someone today whose death tells us something tomorrow. We can kill Agulati later

I'm not convinced agulati is mafia. He squirmed a lot. It just doesn't feel right.

Agulati seemed like we might have been reading too much into what he said. But there may be better targets since if he screws up again we can always axe him just as quickly

I can get behind the unvote of agulati for strategy reasons, but we need a secondary target and we need more people on board.

The more I think about it, the more I think agulati is not a mafia. At least not based on his post. I genuinely think he mis-spoke and is being jumped on for what may be the wrong reasons.
That said, we need to go after someone, and I would rather go after the guy who targeted the one known townie to the bitter end in the last round.
Nothing personal, tranplant99. I have to vote for someone and your actions last round are the most suspicious in my books.
vote: transplant99

Celebrated Square Root Day
|
I was hoping to last a little longer this game, and throwing out accusations doesn't help, but at the end of the day, there's no point in being a transplant type poster and not contribute anything.
So I'll say that Kermitology has stuck out to me since the beginning. He's a tough read because he didn't play the first one, so he could just be feeling the game out, but to me his posts since the beginning have been a little off.
I don't know, it's tough to gauge suspicious activity when we don't know too much, but even his most recent two posts were kind of random in a suspicious way. He comes in, states that this is his last post at 2:30 today
Quote:
Last post before I fly off to Toronto, in case folks wonder why I've stopped posting. Won't be able to post much until Thursday, setting up some stuff for the Canadian Tire AGM

Then as soon as there was a slight indication that the group may be shifting away from Agulati, boom! There he is with an unvote AND has a new vote up and ready.

This could be nothing, but if we're looking for any kind of strategy in a world of very few knowns, I'd say there's a small chance that Kermitology and Agulati are mafia.
Now I guess the positive in this is that if the vote does stick to Agulati and he's mafia, then Kermitology is an obvious next vote. If Agulati is town then maybe Kermitology is just a "new to the game", suspicious sounding townie.
The other negative being that flameswin is likely going to get himself killed early again.
