I think Craig is on the high side of 6'2". I was walking behind Conroy and Iginla at one of the development camps. Craig is at least an inch taller than Iggy who is listed at 6'1".

This is not a rumour but didn't know where else to put it and definitely not worth it's own thread. I love looking back at old trades, and tonight looked up Craig Janney. Remarkable how the trade returns for him diminished steadily over his career (although I'm sure true for a lot of players).
1992-Feb-07 Traded from Boston Bruins with Stephane Quintal to St. Louis Blues for Adam Oates
1994-Mar-14 Traded from St. Louis Blues with round 2 pick in the 1994 draft ( Scott Cherrey) to Vancouver Canucks for signing Petr Nedved
1994-Mar-21 Traded from Vancouver Canucks to St. Louis Blues for Jeff Brown, Bret Hedican and Nathan LaFayette
1995-Mar-06 Traded from St. Louis Blues with cash to San Jose Sharks for Jeff Norton and conditional pick in the 1997 draft
1996-Mar-18 Traded from San Jose Sharks to Winnipeg Jets for Darren Turcotte and round 2 pick in the 1996 draft
1998-Jun-11 Traded from Phoenix Coyotes to Tampa Bay Lightning for Louie DeBrusk and round 5 pick in the 1998 draft ( Jay Leach)
1999-Jan-18 Traded from Tampa Bay Lightning to New York Islanders for round 6 pick in the 1999 draft ( Fedor Fedorov)
Hilariously, Janney was awarded as compensation to Vancouver instead of Brendan Shanahan, refused to report, was traded back to St Louis, and was gone from St Louis anyway at the beginning of the next season.

Here's the wider shot. Parekh does look a legit 6' tall. We don't know what his footwear is like though.
My question is that if he actually is 6', why is he only listed at 6'? Is he the only player in the NHL that tells the truth.

Babbling about? Seems to me you don't watch much hockey if you don't understand how good Dahlin is on a very, very bad team. Also we're talking about Parekh's D+1 year here (which to slow my babble down for you is the year after he was drafted)... you know, this year for Parekh, 2018/19 for Dahlin.
Dahlin put up 44 points in the season after he was drafted--in the NHL... the best league in the world (to really explain it for you). Parekh's NHLE this year, in a junior league, is 46.
Keep up and stop dropping to insults if you can't understand a conversation.

Craig was getting groceries with Gelinas at the midtown Coop downtown one day years ago and he was definitely over 6 ft. Parekh is at least 6 ft for sure if he’s not wearing lifts.

We're through the looking glass here, people.
It's not even April. Good god this offseason is going to feel like decades.

I'm 6'3 and stood next to him @ Rookie camp last year for a chat, he's definitely on the + side of 6' and doesn't look a bit scrawny at all. I can only imagine what more muscle will do for him.
Not much to worry about either way.

Size really isn't a factor for the type of player Zayne is trying to emulate anyways.
Makar - 6'0"
Fox - 5'11"
Q Hughes - 5'10"
Parekh - 6'0"

Mark Giordano was 6'0" and didn't seem to be troubled by physical play.

I cannot WAIT to have an awesome mobile D like Hughes and Makar..
Which teams out there have an amazing #1 mobile D and an amazing #1 goalie? (without an amazing #1 C)

The Rangers have Shesterkin and Fox. Fox isn’t exactly amazing mobile. Miller and Zibenejad aren’t exactly franchise players.

Winnipeg? Does Morrisey fit? Hellebuyck is obviously top tier. Scheifele is great but not elite.

Yeah I was going to say the Jets. Morrissey is a great skater. Maybe not the same tier as Makar and Hughes though.
The islanders with Dobson and Sorokin, but I don't think that's a team we should try and emulate.

Having a mobile offensive orientated D-man, could make some of our forwards begin to look elite. If it gets the PP clicking and makes zone entries easier, the forwards offensive game could look transformed. Huberdeau could be back to a 90+ point player again.

It's what Vancouver has when Demko is healthy. Depending on what you believe Pettersson is.

Nashville when Saros is actually playing. Josi is amazing and they don’t have a #1 center. Oreilly is old as balls and does stammer even play center anymore?
