Players traded by pairs these days. May Miller & Boeser for Kadri & Weegar?

I just want some of Carolinas up and comers. They have a lot. Like a lot a lot. I don't even want picks, just give us a nice grab bag of prospects

Scott Morrow might be the jewel of their prospect base. 2nd rounder from 2021, he's a D with 27 points in 32 NCAA games. Heimosalmi is another good one, D playing in Finland-2nd highest points for U20 D in the Liiga. They also have another favorite of mine on D, Simon Forsmark- 30 points in 33 J20 games, 8th best for D in that league.
They have some nice forwards too- Koivunen, Gleb Trikozov, Jackson Blake, and Noel Gunler. Let's not forget G Petr Kotchetkov.

I imagine if the Flames want to stay in compete mode for next year they might ask for Kotkaniemi or Necas as a return for Lindholm or Backlund.
Not sure how important those two are to Carolina's current success though.

Like you could probably take 2 of their top 10 ranked prospects and they wouldn't even flinch because they have 10 more.
Personally I'd snag Gunler and a the next best D man after Morrow

They're shopping Kotkaniemi. He's more a cap related involvement for them I think

I'd really like to see some blue chip prospects or higher picks like 1st,2nds or 3rds added. Not just for the sake of doing so but because its been so wild out there it would be missed opportunity to get some flexibility and youth restock without even going into a full rebuild.
Plus who wants to be the only kids on Christmas morning without some new presents to open! I hope even with so many teams buying already that there still might be some leverage with the Carolina's and any other contenders looking to boost their lineup for the playoffs.

Do you follow a lot of scouting on prospects seems like you have a really good grasp on prospects and it's cool to hear.
You are like free scouting report.
People like me just love anyone taken in the first round.

Come on, Brad. Let’s see some savvy selling that takes advantage of these prices without hurting the team too much the rest of the year or next year.

I don't see Carolina moving Necas. 2nd in scoring, they spent years developing him, and has about to break out into something even better.... The Flames should be all over that, not not going to happen.

Thanks, Paulie! A few years back I wrote fairly detailed descriptions on this board of over 200 prospects going in to the 2021 Draft (I had time on my hands with COVID). I guess I'm a bit of a dullard, I've been obsessed with the draft since my early teens, so I spend a lot of my free time reading, watching, and basically digesting anything I can on prospects. I usually keep a bit of a mental book on most of them going forward as well, and I often keep tabs on them going into their careers. I can't remember what I did last week, what I ate for breakfast, what my plans are for the weekend, etc.- but I usually remember info on prospects. My family and friends use me as an encyclopedia, lol. I do a lot of stats-watching, and I keep up on all the junior leagues too.

That's awesome I love your enthusiasm.
Those young players are the life line of teams and the league.

We all said the same thing about Lindholm/Hanifin and then look what happened.
Crazy things can happen, Brad & Don have history so as silly as it seems it could happen.

He has more points and goals then Kadri, is a decade younger and makes less than half at the moment. I mean... getting him is not in the cards.
