I like Strombo as an interviewer. I do wonder whether he'll be able to do his skills justice in a hockey setting, but I hope that this is a sign that there will be more in-depth (and dare I say "cultural") coverage on the broadcasts (a la CBC) as opposed to TSN and Sportsnet's formula of "cut to SportsCentre/Connected!" about 30 seconds after the game ends.

And I hope that Ron MacLean isn't minimized too much. I think that he's one of the more intelligent hockey minds out there, and I enjoy his wit.

Could the CBC potentially get the rights to the original theme tune back from TSN now that TSN aren't in the fold? Obviously this is the most important issue to me.

Their new intro is great and I think has grown on everyone
