I’m not sure why this myth continues to get perpetuated, because it’s just not true and it is easy to verify that it’s not.
Lindholm is 11 points back of where he was last year. His wingers, on the other hand, are a collective 58 points back of where his wingers were last year.
The drop of in talent on either side has been immense, but he has still managed to produce at a high level.
If there’s one player on this team that you sign long term to help carry you through whatever is next, it’s Lindholm. Trading him short of a massive overpay is going to be a mistake. It’s going to be an extremely difficult hole to fill.

IIRC they’ve done these info dump type posts about what’s allegedly going on behind the scenes before but I couldn’t say if any of it ever came to fruition in a tangible way. Not like there’s anything else going on so enjoy it for fun at least. Worst case scenario it’s fun fan fiction about the team
