Heard at the Orange Julius lineup today that Bollig's beard is actually being held for questioning in the Burrows rib "accident".

I didn't see it that way at all. He looked like he was picking up the stick in an apologetic fashion.
It was literally one step away from Engellend smacking him with his own hand while asking why he's smacking himself.

I don't know if anyone else saw it but in game 3 I think there was also a "Sedins are soft" moment. There was a post-whistle scrum and Wideman kept jabbing at one of the twins' faces kinda like Marchand but not as vicious. It was like 3-5 small jabs and Sedin just turned his head away and took it.

We have 6 in the top 80.

If you compare the lineups of the two teams and their respective prospect pools, it becomes clear that Vancouver is headed into the abyss and we look like the sky is the limit. The picks in the 2015 draft will further this chasm significantly. I don't think we see them in the playoffs for 5-7 years after this year, they truly are the 2010 Calgary Flames with less trade assets. Benning better stop trading picks for marginal tweeners and start stocking the cupboards because they're about to drive straight off a cliff.

Uuughh. This series simply HAS to end tonight, because I am a wreck. 4AM wake-up calls every second morning, followed by full work days, and jolts of adrenaline that make it nearly impossible to get more than three or four hours of sleep each night. A 7PM MT start means another lost hour on my end.
Please win, Flames. I need the sleep...so much...

Like others have said, you overseas guys are bigger fans than any of the dude-bros snapping 1337 boobie pics on the Red Mile.nGetting up at 4am to watch a frikkin hockey game is unimaginable for me. I would try, but I would just end up repeatedly smashing my snooze button into powder.

Agreed. I mean, I've been there and done that for soccer, World Cup, etc, and the Rugby World Cup nearly killed me.
But the advantage to those was that the games were spaced out. We're talking about 3 games a week here. I'd be a wreck.

Damn. I so wish I didn't think Orange Julius tasted like sh*t. So many NHL insider stories broken in those lineups over the years...

Barry Melrose on ESPN.COM says that the best playoff series so far is the Canucks-Flames series and even goes on to recommend that fans of non playoff teams should cheer for Calgary!

Well if they win at least we'll get a few days rest. But we're staring down the barrel of another late night series should the Flames advance against Anaheim.
