Absolutely! Wanna play cheap? Go f yourselves, we'll take our ball and go play with someone else. I will say however Im a little worried about the players we received in return from the Pens but time will tell.

It will be a real miscalculation/poor management if there isn't.

Well at least I know these guys.
Aaron Ward can go suck a lemon. Glad I waited before I went off the deep end.
Iggy in Pittsburg is a match made in heaven. Very happy with that side of the deal anyway.
Screw one cup, go get two Iggy!

Agostino is a hard working forward, has good skill, tough, protects puck well but he's small. Average speed. Projects as a 3L forward.

Iginla chose Calgary's fate. I am with CaptainCrunch on this one. He has chosen to win a Cup but has burned our organization into the ground with two unstellar prospects and what is likely to be no more than essentially a very high 2nd rounder.
I'm happy for the individual, but not happy for the collective.
Welcome to the Dark Years, redux. It was only a few years ago we were the Division champions and regularly making the playoffs, even if we weren't winning them.

Iggy wanted to go to Pittsburgh. Therefore they had to take the deal from pittsburgh.

I've always preferred using 'punched in the junk' but you're sentiment is dead on.

Going on what little I know about scouting/projections/NCAA/prospects (which is literally nothing)... so crudely I'll analyze Agostinos potential as an NHLer by comparing him to past NCAA players who had similar point production at his age.
Drew Stafford, Erik Cole, Joe Pavelski, Dave Backes, Patrick Sharp, Andy McDonald, T.J. Oshie, Justin Abdelkader, Curtis Glencross (didn't play a junior year) all had similarISH numbers in their junior years in NCAA.

Or maybe scoffed at the idea that he was worth a conditional 1st.
IGGY: "Conditional? PFFFFT, I'm worth hella more than that... Hellooooo Pittsburgh!"

I wonder if Kipper is now saying, "Damn, I wanna go to Pittsburg". Iggy and Kipper hoisting the Cup and then coming back to the Flames in the offseason and back to back years of 2 first round picks. Frickin' sweet dream...
I'd go with Kipper in goal over Fleury any day.

It's still up to Feaster and Co to get a better trade than what they got from Pitt.

Sounds like Iginla picked not Feaster but because I am bitter about the conditional pick I do hope that was what cost them the deal and they go out in first round.
