I heard that driving, good meltdown and he even dropped that the league fixed the game. He is a big Vikings Homer, and listening to that crap makes the win all the sweeter. He should ask EJ Henderson if he feels silly breaking his femur last season, when the game was fixed all along.

Schefter reporting that the 49ers have given Vernon Davis a 5 year extension making him the highest paid TE in football. 23 mill guaranteed, 37 mill in total.

Confirmed by the Niner beat writers.
A lot of money but he has really become a great player since Singletary kicked him to the locker room a couple seasons ago. Davis has always been a crazy hard worker but when he came into the league he was a lose cannon. Since that moment he has done exactly what was told, has become a captain and is both a blocking and receiving threat.

I am impartial for both teams. So my opinion comes from a casual fan.
I agree with him on the blown call of the challenge. That was clearly a catch.
As per the penalty calls lots are missed good teams deal with them, it goes both ways.

So excited for tomorrow morning. It is the toughest game before the bye week in week 7. A win tomorrow would go a long way in going 6-0 before the bye week. A lot of pressure will be on the Houston defense to get to Manning with Saturday and Johnson possibly out. I think Collie will have a big game. Should go down to the 4th quarter. Interesting that Gonzo might be the punt returner! GO INDY!

Been a long time since i have been nervous about a Packer season but here I am doing just that.
There are a LOT of expectations on this team this year, and being so young I fear it may hurt them especially early on. They need a good start against the Eagles and chances are they get it with the Eagles starting 3 new O-linemen and the defense giving up so many pass TD's last year....should be a win. Should being the key word as Philly can get to the QB and the Packers have to prove for real they have figured out how to keep Rodgers upright and Rodgers has to prove he can stop holding onto the ball so bloody long....a bad combo if not fixed.
Its gonna be a high scoring game IMO if Kolb has it figured out as a young guy who has the weight of a brutal fanbase on his shoulders. Again another big question mark.
37-33 packers.
And i am somewhat expecting the Texans to finally get the Manning monkey off their backs today. I think they have a big season.
No idea what to expect from that Cowboys/Skins game though...so many story lines going on there.
I think the most interesting game today is the Bengals/Patriots matchup. Is Cincy for real? Is Moss going to play like a guy in a contract year? Will they miss Mankins as much as i think they will. Can the Pats D step up even with all their inexperience and can palmer and Co. take advantage of them?
What does Denver hold...i have no idea what to think about them. Could be real good and could be real bad. I sort of think the same thing about the Browns...Holmgren can be magic at times.
I will shut up now.

Tranny, you really think the Eagles will put up that many points on the Pack? I don't think that game is even going to be close.
I've up been up since 6:30 mtn watching NFL network, just flipped over to TSN for NFL Countdown. Really nervous about the Fins in Buffalo today. Its a game they should win but they have had no luck in Buffalo. Not too mention, the Fins didn't exactly look very good in preseason. Although they didn't showcase very much offensively or defensively. I think the Fins will win but it will come down to a play or 2 in the 4th qtr. to get it done.

It will be interesting for me to see how much opportunity McDaniels gives to Tim Tebow today playing in his hometown. I don't think he will play nearly as much this season as most people think. This IS Kyle Orton's team. However, there is little doubt in my mind that he will have opportunity to score today because of the situation.
Would love to see Demaryius THomas get some snaps in without hurting his foot. Nervous about that kid.
Great to have Clady back and especially important since the underappreciated Ryan Harris is out on the right side today. Denver backs are going to have to be active in the pocket.
I do think the Broncos will surprise this year.

Well, there will be no injured foot for Demaryius Thomas today since he isn't playing. Tebow is the backup today, which I obviously expected. Dexter McCluster is doubtful for tomorrow night which sucks. Makes that game somewhat less interesting as he is a treat!
Excited for the Montana boys playing today.

I could barely sleep last night I was so excited for this morning. I'm pretty excited to give NFL Red Zone a test drive tonight. From the things I have seen and read it looks like I won't be leaving my couch all day today.

You know what? I havent a freaking clue. I do know that the Eagles have some superb talent on O and the last Packers game i watched against a team with such athletes...they scored 45 and lost.
I am hopeful that Capers 2nd year makes a difference for the D and they make a progression I think they have the ability to do. IF that happens I think they are NFC favorites, but I am not sure it will. If they dont get it and are unable to pressure Kolb repeatedly, they are going to miss Harris big time. The C and S position are a couple huge question marks (aside from Collins and Woodson)and the special teams have been anything but... and that is where Desean jackson could do some damage today with returns that have philly with short fields or even scoring himself.
GB will score...no question, its just how many they give up.
Im really curious/anxious to see how it all plays out.

Only Oakland could get a delay of game penalty after calling a timeout. So much for the big changes in Raiderland this year. I'm picking another 4-12 season for them. Chris Johnson with 112 yards and a TD already in the first half.

My sure loser, Detroit, and sure winner, NYG, picks are looking a little bit sketchy. Going out on both those in week 1 would friggin suck.

Denver and Jacksonville are suspended due to lightning.
Begining of the 4th quarter and Jacksonville leads 17-14. A lot more defense in this game than I expected.
