Bergeron IMO is a good 13th forward on this team. Plays PK, an get throw in as a Winger or Centre, is likely to end up injured and sitting as a surplus forward...

They are reporting stuff, they do not make the decisions
Well....I don't think it was everybody....most of us realized that he did start on the 4th line.....put yourself on trollhold for a couple weeks

Canucks fans are probably excited about they have the opportunity to cheer (for the first time since the last olympics) for a true leader and franchise player (Iginla). Most from vancouver consider it a rare opportunity.

We get it, you are not cheering for Canada. No need to start every post with it.

Either Iginla was a little hurt on that hit, or I don't know what that was all about??

More Nash Crosby Iginla. However I doubt if we will. Babcock is going to either win or fail with the SJ line.

Title change in honor of the new line.

Great production by this line tonight. Hopefully they can do the same tomorrow (if they win this game)

I think the Olympics are showing that the Flames are misusing Iggy. He should not be getting head-manned the puck, he doesn't need to play with Crosby but he needs to someone else to carry the puck and let him be the trailer.

Just for the sake of accuracy, Iginla only had one assist, so three points.

Fair enough.

I believe after tonight's game that Jarome Iginla has 10 goals for Canada in his Olympic career. Is there another player that is even close to that total?

Iggy did GREAT tonight....but not so good against Americans or Suiss?

Real test will be tomorrow against Russia, and remember U.S.A is undefeated and has probably best Goalie in tournament....and Sweden is not far behind...another great team with great goaltending.

They will have their work cut out for them but if they win Gold it should help number 12 when he gets back to NHL.

Looks like the Crosby-Iginla-Staal lineup is a winner!

If 2002 is any indication, it most definitely will.

Yeah when Iggy trails the puck, good things happen. Especially when he is wide open for a one-timer
