I tried some in Veags on Saturday and I must say I was disappointed. It tasted like water and lime with carbination. Maybe water and carbination is the definition of beer, but this is a really weak and watered down beer with a touch of lime. It has more in common with club soda and lime than it does with beer in my opinion.

If anyone is looking for this I just picked up a 12 pack at the Co-op Liquor Store on MacLeod Tr near Heritage Station. The checkout lady said they just got it today. Price is a bit steep at $27.99. Oh well!

Even down in the US it's like $13 at Wal-Mart to buy a case of it. You can buy a regular case of Bud Light for $10 and than buy a lime for 40 cents. Than again given the excessive protectionism going on in the US, maybe I should stop buying stuff in the US.

They taste pretty similar to a Corona with lime in it IMO.

I am on CP far too much. At the liq today buying a heineken mini-keg (I had a hankering, I don't know why. Don't judge) the girl behind me was buying some Bud Light Lime. The first thing I thought of was this thread.
Also, I still hate it, and if you like this you really need to try Landshark beer. Much much better. Trust me, I'm a drunk.

Yeah I still haven't got to try it. Went to buy some last weekend and apparently the only liquor store in town that carries it has been sold out for 3 weeks.
I'm excited for Big Rock Lime...if it comes to Camrose that is...and isn't MGD coming out with a lime beer? I thought I saw a commercial for another beer company that decided lime was a good idea.
