I'm coming on strong. Semin is finally healthy. Now, for Legace to spontaneously combust.

On the plus side, I'm a moderator over on HF so I can just ban every underachieving member of my team.

Just like I said, I'm out of last place. Look out, world.

I don't know... Don't you think it would be classier for the captain to go down with the ship? I'll accept your surrender now, if you like....
On a serious note, it's still very early. HFPM's got a big mountain to climb, but you really never know.

Ha can't actually ban anybody. Only an admin can. Anyways, what the **** is going on with Semin? He's in one game, but isn't for the 7-1 romp. Ridiculous.

Care to make a wager on that?
A few HF team members have started to rise (it's no longer 5 HF members in the bottom 5) so this pool might not be over just yet. I'm stuck in 5th, Lecavalier isn't ripping it up like I expected him to and Elias, Jokinen and Jovanovski have all had poor seasons so far.

Yeah, it's early for sure. The spread between first and last place is about 140 points--which isn't a whole lot, given you can score anywhere between 35 and -1 in a single night of hockey.
I'm still enjoying my meteoric rise from 11th place to my all too brief stint in 3rd. I'm in fourth now--but I'll always remember my short time in the top 3....

I've been an admin and mod on various boards (IPB, phpBB2). You can only ban with ACP access. I'm sure you could scare the newbies.
Back to last place again.

TDS has lost the lead.
And I'm moving ever closer up the table.

Not surprised I lost the lead. Budaj better get that starter spot again and hopefully some of my forwards can get going.

The total average scores as of last night:
CP: 572.69
HF: 567.49
The gap has definitely tightened up quite a bit as a number of the bottom feeder HF teams have started to inch their way up the leaderboard. I'm still winning the overall race.

Heading into tonight:
HF: 761.96
CP: 765.04
The gap is now down to almost 3 points.

Hey, thanks for keeping score--I knew I was falling down on the job, but I'm glad someone could fill in!
As an update for Friday Morning: Cerebral is still running away with the individual standings, but the team spread is a bit more. Here are the averages as I calculate them:
CP: 825.94
HF: 816.74
Not much of a spread when you think about it. Still anyone's game!

CP's dominance of this contest continues! Here are the average scores at the Christmas break.
HF Avg: 1195.08
CP Avg: 1219.27
Cerebral still has the overall lead, but our average score is pretty healthy, and "The Dion Show" is now hot on his heels! Still anyone's game, but it's nice to see the average score spreading out a little bit.
