Nope I meant what I meant Oilers suck like Americans suck. *sorry for my friends here who aren't Nazi's, do more to change the leadership of your country, presumably you have not done enough yet, he's still there.
But I'll own up to a little homonym word substitution.

That was a mistake. It was his first period dive that scored a 3.

Perfect time to revisit this classic... https://forum.calgarypuck.com/showth...50#post8123850

They're a bad team, they love their toe drags
Love diving, and cherry picking too
They're a bad team, they're crazy about McDoofus
Love coasting, and whining to the refs too
And it's a long day, playing for the Oilers
The losing streak is running up pretty large
And they're a bad team, and they don't even know it
They're a bad team, for havin' no heart
And they're free, free fallin'
Yeah they're free, free fallin'
All the fan boys crying in the alley
Move slowly back into the bars
And all the good teams are headed to the playoffs
And the Oilers are at home with broken hearts
And they're free, free fallin'
Oh! Free fallin'
Now they're free fallin'
Free fallin'
I wanna glide down over Edmonton
I wanna write E=NG in the sky
They're gonna keep free fallin' out into nothin'
They're gonna stay the worst run franchise for a while
Yeah they're free (free fallin', now they're free fallin')
Free fallin' (free fallin', now they're free fallin)

Just musing about how much better the Oilers would be if they would've kept Broberg and Holloway instead of Skinner, Klingberg & Perry. What a bunch of morons hahahahahahaha

Sorry folks, +/- is a real stat. This is a perfect example.

I'd debate that but I don't think I'm allowed to in a ENG thread.

It's just so great. Broberg would be their best defender, easily, and Holloway would be their best two way forward and 3rd highest scorer.
Just, so, so funny. The only laudable thing Holland did was hold on to and make his 1st round picks, and bowman comes in and immediately ####s it right up. Hilarious.

Can he be around family and friends, still get a boatload of money, and chase his childhood dream? Absolutely. McDavid wants to cement his place in hockey history, no matter what he accomplishes in Edmonton he will always be in 99's shadow and he knows it.

So the point stands. Ask for the max, and if the Oilers say no - he walks. If they say yes, then he's making max dollars. It's win/win for McDavid.

They remain paper tigers. Records against playoff teams vs non-playoff teams (based on current standings):
Playoff teams: 13-15-4 .469 W%
non-playoff...: 21-5-0 .808 W%
They're great at getting points from the bottom feeders, but against real teams, they are middling at best.
BTW, the Flames are:
Playoff teams: 12-14-1 .463 W%
non-playoff...: 16-7-7 .650 W%
The only difference between the two teams is their ability to win OT games against bottom feeders.

The team with only 3 good players is great at winning 3 v 3 OT....shocking. Too bad that doesn't exist in the playoffs.

Remember when they said they had nothing to do with the PK. The same PK that is now sitting 27th in the NHL.
2 SHG as well. Guess they don't miss that speed and attacking.
