Hasn't "finishing confidence" and "hitting the net" been this team's Achilles heel for a long time now? Since the Gulutzan era, I feel like this team has had issues with finishing and beating mediocre goaltenders for a long time now (minus 1 or 2 outlier seasons). It might just be that the majority of players on this team lack that natural ability to pick corners and when they do, they miss, but of course, they'll keep trying because it beats shooting into the goalie's crest.
