Yamamoto didn't have a bad year really. He just isn't turning out to be a guy that scores at the level to stick in the top six.
Expectations are always high on former first round picks to develop into top six forwards. With Yamo it looks like he'll settle into a bottom six career like Cogliano.
I think he's a useful player and does a lot of the things that coaches like, but he just can't find the scoring touch.
