I care, great add.

This team underperformed for years.

Sorry if you don’t want to hear it.

Most of what you post I could remark “who cares” as well.

Game's being replayed on SportsNet right now.

I told my 4 year old the Flames game was on, he got really excited and said he needed his jersey to watch the game. He got a Heritage Classic Gaudreau jersey for Christmas (the ones SportChek had on clearance).

Now he's on the couch with me watching last night's game, and wants to know when 13 is on the ice.

The brainwashing is proving to be effective.

It’s not brainwashing, it’s just proper parenting.
And well done.

Of course Flames walk the pathetic Hawks. The good news is Flames schedule starts to get much tougher now in January. Hopefully those good teams will play Flames as hard as they have typically played us. Carolina played us like it was a Stanley Cup game. Will piss me off if they take games off against Calgary.

You know its funny, because this lame excuse comes out again and again with the Oiler faithful.

I mean them talking about schedules is hilarious considering how soft their's has been and they've completely failed to take advantage of it, a ton of home games, against the lessser lights of the league and very few back to backs.

And the Oilers as its shown since their 9-1 start has been one of the worst teams in the NHL, why? Because their 2 player no depth bad goaltending lazy play makes them fairly easy to play against. If you take it easy against the Flames they kill you with systems and work ethic.

But what's funny is looking at the Tankathon strength of schedule for the remainder of the season. The Oilers have the 9th toughest schedule remaining, the Flames 23rd. So while the Oilers have failed to take advantage of their butter soft schedule, the Flames have managed to accumulate points during the toughest part of the schedule, which probably means that the Flames chances of making the playoffs are very solid, the Oilers . . . . it doesn't look good.

Great win. Looking at the Flames IG post when Kylington scored his ENG, Lucic, Mang, and Lindholm were RELENTLESS! Gave the Hawks no space to move. Amazing coaching by Sutter.

She's a friend of mine, this gif is a few years old though, I showed it to her a while back. She told me she was describing pulling hair out of her shower drain.

Always chuckle when something in the game seems odd to me, and then reading the PGT everyone has it ...

The "if you will ... " thing was hard to miss.

It’s a verbal tic and I bet other commentators have them as well. I don’t know why it stands out other than she doesn’t really use it right. You usually use it with an unusual description and she doesn’t.

It's an awkward phrasing any way ...

Like I hate "having said that" as a personal axe to grind.

But what made it really odd is she used it on back to back elite players that Calgary didn't have.

A Connor McDavid if you will.
An Austin Matthews if you will.

Will what?

Will consider the example and its relevance

I think this is a lame pile on, just my opinion. Not sure why everybody is all over her

She doesnt just use it incorrectly, she uses it upwards of 5/6/7 times a broadcast.

It's terribly unprofessional.

She is so good in the studio setting where she has time to break down video and put thought into what she is saying, but as a live color analyst? Not so much.

I don't see any piling on. And nobody is insulting her, or escalating anything. Just a discussion about a habit she has, which seems fair game, considering she uses it multiple times each game.

I’m not a Cassie hater. I think she’s as good as your average colour person (which isn’t a high bar). And I’m not on board with “monotone” complaints at all. It’s just a funny thing that you could actually make a drinking game over.

I admit to adding to the poking fun last night, but I agree with a few of the points above, its one thing that the phrase was overused to the point of just being so obvious but it didn't even really seem to be used properly- really clanged, not sure why but so noticeable

The usual use is where you make some sort of analogy or colourful unusual description for something else. “That parking lot became a game of automobile musical chairs, if you will”.

I haven't said a single thing about her.

Just something she said was peculiar.

Don't think piling on has been a thing today.
