Game Takes: Flames 4 Leafs 3

- Tkachuk with a goal, +2 and a scrap
- Flames opportunistic with only 18 shots.
- Markstrom steals two points

It's also predictable that the moment Gio starts shooting one time slappers again he scores.

Helped that it was on net to, and not wide.

I don’t see that at all. Second to almost all loose pucks. On the perimeter all the time.

The Gadreau line was not making anything happen tonight. Not sure who you could even put with those 2 guys right now.

Maybe have Backlund centre them.

Loved Chucky's game all night. Looked more like the Tkachuk of old. Keep more of that coming.

Sounding an awful lot like a complaint there.

Missed most of the game, but big win!
Even if it was an ugly one, happy to take those all day!

He's trying to do everything all by himself. He's skating all over the ice trying to find pucks while his linemates are stuck in cement. No wonder he's second to every puck... he's getting absolutely zero support.

Well, how many times did “Gadreau” setup Ritchie, any decent right winger would have had at least two goals and “Gadreau” would have had two assists.

Complete toss up as to what the order will end up.

I see the Flames and Canucks trending up, Leafs and Habs cooling off, Jets probably holding steady, and it could go any which way for Edmonton, but I'll never bet my house on a team that makes Mike Smith their go-to.

Prediction, and part of me hates writing this
1) Oilers
2) Jets
3) Leafs
4) Flames

Didn't see a single second of the game, but my thoughts remain the same.

I thought when we got the forecheck going, we looked good, but getting out of our own zone and through the neutral zone was pretty tough.

Better breakouts
A little more hustle to loose pucks.

Those are the two things we need to clean up.

Gutsy win it’s palpable Bennett’s lack of confidence.
