I also like that they criticize Cassie for being emotionally invested in the Flames as if that’s a bad thing. I like when broadcasters are invested in the team they cover.
Also the Flames pay her husband’s salary so obviously she’s going to cheer for them.

Actually I don't find Cassie emotionally invested in the Flames, I find her sometimes go against the Flames. But today, she called the game fair.
Are Oilers fans that stupid? The two idiots who call their game are the biggest homer in the league, and they are calling others homer?

I love how fans from any team always get worked up when Lucic scores like its the end of the world.

I guess they're just so used to being coddled by the media. Not only by the ridiculously unprofessional local guys that cover them, but the national guys. I'm not sure if the national media is stuck in the stone age like Oiler fans, or if they're sympathetic that the Oilers are the embarrassment of professional sports.

Hopefully Talbot and the team can catch fire now.

I think she can be guilty of that from time to time but overall I don’t find her to be too negative towards the Flames.
And yes, I agree with your last statement. Drew Remenda probably has a shrine with pictures of McDavid and Draisaitl without shirts on in his closet and Kevin Quinn creams his pants after every Oilers goal. DeBrusk is a homer too but at least he’s knowledgeable and isn’t uncomfortably off-putting like Remenda or Quinn.

Meanwhile a common complaint in the recent discussion here was that Cassie seems more negative towards the Flames to not seem biased.
Reminds me of when you look at GT comments from Flames and Oilers fans when Randorf is calling a BOA game. Both fanbases think he's biased towards the other team.

It's almost like they have never heard Kevin Quinn call an Oilers game. When the opposition scores half the time he doesn't even do a goal call as he's so deflated.

Ya, he would be tied for 11th in goals by forwards if he was still an Oiler (actually tied for
10th because Neal would not be on the Flames)

He'd be tied for 8th, not sure where you're getting 10 from?

I may be wrong, but I think the following forwards on the Oilers have more goals than Lucic this year
Draisaitl
McDavid
Nugent-Hopkins
Neal
Ennis
Athanasiou
Kassian
Arichibald
Yamamoto
Chiasson
He would be tied with Sheahan for 11th amongst Oiler forwards in goals this season.

Ennis and Athanasiou each have one goal for the Oilers this season, I wouldn't count them. But that's just me.

Goal differential down to -5. Much better.
