Giordano is a silent beast, over 27 minutes, 3 points and hardly anyone noticed.

Agreed, he can't continue to play like he did tonight if the team wants to have success.

That being said, he shut the door tonight and made an absolutely crucial save. If they score at that point I think this game tips in Vancouvers favour.

3/6 on the PP looks a hell of a lot better than 0/7. Let's hope it continues to click going forward. Good job, boys!

They were both pretty much open nets after a 40 foot royal road pass. If those don't go in, you've either got a ten bell save or a pretty bad miss. I give them credit for the finish but those goals were all Johnny. On both those PP's, as soon as he got the puck it was essentially a fait accompli. He was in God Mode after taking that hit from Virtanen that drew the penalty in the 2nd.

that one was a little too fun. it was absolutely infuriating that the canucks bumbled their way to 4 goals off of the maybe 4 or 5 chances they got the whole night and somehow led after 2 periods.

it was encouraging to see the flames play with so much anger and hunger. i hope they can keep up that spirit. most of the team looked strong, but valimaki, gaudreau, lindholm, and gio stood out. i hope to god the andersson era starts next game. prout looks about as reliable as grossmann out there

Flames come back with 4 straight goals and win the game.

Randorf "But did you know they were heavily outplayed in Vancouver in game one?"

No credit from this chump, even after Debrusk tried pumping the Flames tires in the third. Man, get this guy off the mic (for Flames games), we don't want him.

Valimaki is so much better than I thought, he looks fantastic out there and always seems to make the right play. I don't think I am to far out on the limb when I say him and Hanifin will be the top pairing next year. Great tools and great instincts.

Lidholm is a beauty!

Dube is a beauty as well. Love the speed.

Zero confidence in Smith.D was shaky no doubt but he is just off.

He's been great so far, but really? Giordano isn't going anywhere anytime soon. He's easily the #1 defenceman and will be for at least a couple more years.

Lindholm looks great but Hanifin needs to step up a lot for that to happen. He wasn’t very good tonight

Judging by my commute home, ATL will be up some time in the wee hours of the morning.

I assure you all though that I'll stay up as long as it takes.
